Liver tests help determine the health of your liver by measuring the levels of protein, liver enzymes, and bilirubin in your blood. You can also monitor the progress or treatment of an existing condition.
Depending on the test, higher or lower than normal levels of these enzymes or proteins may indicate a liver problem.
